¬†¬† Sterling’s Wrought iron offers a beginner’s course in basic wrought iron and metal work. Courses are run on a demand basis at the Sterling’s Wrought iron workshop in Dargle, KZN. Courses are run by Guy Sterling who has 20 years experience in this field. Participants will be taught how to make several different items including candlesticks, a coat rack, fire pokers, fruit bowls and a magazine rack/log holder. Participants will make these items to take home. They also get the jigs needed to reproduce the scrolls etc. The value of these items is approximately R1950. Techniques covered include welding ,traditional blacksmithing and basic metalwork

The Sterling Wrought Iron Courses will no longer be held at the showroom workshop , We have relocated our workshop to new premises on the Dargle Road 5 Minutes away from our showroom at the Piggly Wiggly  Country Village.

All items made by participants (theirs to keep)
